Solodrive Car Rental Service – Bhubaneswar
1. Eligibility & Documentation:
- The renter must be at least 21 years old for standard cars and 25 years old for premium/luxury cars.
- A valid driving license issued by the Government of India is required. International customers must provide an International Driving Permit (IDP).
- An original government-issued ID (Aadhaar, Passport, Voter ID) is mandatory for verification.
- A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the vehicle type.
2. Booking & Payment:
- All bookings must be made in advance through our website, mobile app, or authorized booking centers.
- Full payment must be made before vehicle pickup. Additional charges may apply for extra usage beyond the agreed rental period.
- Cancellation charges apply as per our cancellation policy. Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7 working days.
3. Vehicle Usage & Responsibility:
- The rented car should only be used within permitted geographical limits. Interstate travel requires prior approval.
- The renter is responsible for any fines, tolls, penalties, or traffic violations incurred during the rental period.
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, and illegal activities inside the vehicle are strictly prohibited.
- Any damage to the vehicle due to negligence, reckless driving, or misuse will be charged to the renter.
4. Fuel Policy:
- Vehicles are provided with a certain level of fuel and must be returned with the same level. Fuel costs are the renter’s responsibility.
- Failure to refill the fuel will result in additional charges based on the prevailing fuel rates.
5. Insurance & Liability:
- All vehicles are insured for third-party liabilities. However, renters are responsible for damages beyond insurance coverage.
- In case of an accident, the renter must inform Solodrive immediately and file an FIR if required.
- The renter is liable for any repairs or replacements not covered by insurance.
6. Late Return & Extension:
- Any delay in returning the vehicle beyond the agreed time will incur additional charges.
- Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to vehicle availability.
7. Breakdown & Emergency Assistance:
- In case of a vehicle breakdown, the renter must inform Solodrive immediately.
- Basic roadside assistance will be provided. However, if the issue is due to renter negligence, repair costs will be charged.
8. Termination of Agreement:
- Solodrive reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if the renter violates any terms and conditions.
- Any misuse or involvement in illegal activities will result in immediate vehicle repossession without a refund.
9. Dispute Resolution:
- Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Bhubaneswar court.
By renting a vehicle from Solodrive Car Rental, the renter agrees to abide by these terms and conditions. Solodrive reserves the right to modify these terms without prior notice.
